Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 May 2026

Screwpine ("we", "us", "our") provides the mobile game Tower Match Tactics (the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you play the Game, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Game, you agree to the practices described below.

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at screwpine.games@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

The Game itself does not require an account or ask you to provide personal information. The data described below is collected automatically by the Game and the third-party SDKs it integrates.

1.1 Device and technical information

  • Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version
  • Language and region settings
  • Screen resolution and hardware capabilities
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (country/region level)
  • Mobile advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA), where you have consented to its use
  • Crash logs and performance diagnostics

1.2 Gameplay and analytics information

  • Game progress, level completion, session length, and in-game choices
  • In-app purchase events (the fact that a purchase occurred and which item)
  • Advertising events (ad impressions, clicks, rewards)
  • Anonymous usage statistics used to improve the Game

1.3 Purchase information

When you make an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not see or store your payment card details. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase, which we use to grant entitlements (such as the Remove Ads upgrade).

1.4 Information stored only on your device

Your save data — including progress, settings, and entitlements — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2. Third-party services

We use the following third-party providers to operate the Game. Each has its own privacy policy explaining how it processes your data:

  • Unity LevelPlay / ironSource — ad mediation. Privacy policy
  • Google AdMob — advertising network. Privacy policy
  • Unity Ads — advertising network. Privacy policy
  • Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) — analytics and crash reporting. Privacy policy
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution and in-app purchases. Their respective privacy policies apply to the transaction.

These providers may collect identifiers and device data described in section 1 in order to deliver advertising, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and report crashes.

3. How we use information

  • To run the Game and deliver requested features
  • To grant in-app purchases and the Remove Ads entitlement
  • To show advertising (where applicable) and to reward players for watching opt-in advertisements
  • To measure performance, fix bugs, and improve the Game
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Advertising and your choices

The Game shows advertising provided by the networks listed above. Where you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we present a consent prompt on first launch that allows you to choose whether you accept personalised advertising. You can change this choice at any time from the Game's Settings → Privacy Settings.

On iOS, the Game uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you do not grant tracking permission, advertising will be served using Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork without identifying you across apps.

You can also reset your mobile advertising identifier at any time in your device's settings.

5. Children's privacy

Tower Match Tactics is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at screwpine.games@gmail.com and we will delete it.

6. Your rights under the GDPR (EU/EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time
  • Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email screwpine.games@gmail.com. Because the Game does not have user accounts, you may also achieve the practical effect of erasure by uninstalling the Game and resetting your advertising identifier in your device settings.

The legal basis for our processing is your consent (for advertising and analytics) and our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Game (for technical functionality and fraud prevention). For purchases, the basis is performance of a contract with you.

7. Your rights under the CCPA / CPRA (California)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights

To opt out of personalised advertising in the Game, decline consent at the prompt or change your choice in Settings → Privacy Settings. To exercise other rights, email screwpine.games@gmail.com.

In the past 12 months we may have shared the following categories of personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising: identifiers (advertising ID), internet or network activity (ad interactions), and inferences drawn from that activity. We do not sell personal information for money.

8. International data transfers

Our third-party providers (including Google, Unity, and ironSource) operate globally, which means your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. These transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.

9. Data retention

Locally stored save data persists until you delete the Game or clear its data. Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies; periods are typically between 14 days and several years depending on the data type and provider.

10. Security

We rely on the security practices of our platform partners (Apple, Google, Unity) and follow standard industry practices to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if you become aware of a security issue, please report it to screwpine.games@gmail.com.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated within the Game where reasonable.
